1. Business identity and contact information

2. Products and descriptions
Product contents are described on each product page. Natural materials vary in grain and colour.
3. Pricing and VAT
Consumer prices are shown in South African rand and include VAT. Corporate pricing shown on the corporate page excludes VAT.
4. Personalisation and proof approval
Personalisation is permanent and is engraved as submitted. Customer-supplied content must be authorised for use by the customer. Logo and engraving proofs for corporate orders require approval before production.
5. Orders and order acceptance
An order is accepted once confirmed through Shopify checkout.
6. Payment
Payment is processed by Shopify and the configured payment provider. Braaikis does not store card details.
7. Production estimates
Preparation takes an estimated 3–5 working days. Estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates.
8. Aramex delivery
Delivery is by Aramex door-to-door courier within South Africa, estimated at 2–4 working days in transit.
9. Returns, faults and statutory rights
See our Returns & Faults policy. Nothing limits rights that cannot be excluded under South African law.
10. Corporate quotations and deposits
Corporate orders require written quote confirmation and a 50% deposit under the agreed quotation terms.
11. Intellectual property and customer-supplied logos
Customers confirm they have the right to use any logo or artwork they supply.
12. Website availability and technical errors
We may correct pricing or descriptive errors and will contact you if an order is affected.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the value of the order.
14. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
